Why is Gratitude So Important?
Research has associated great happiness to people who spend a set amount of time each day in gratitude.
Gratitude allows us to celebrate the present, form new social relations and strengthen current ones. Acts of gratitude can be used to apologize, make amends and even help solve other problems.
Journaling alone, as a family or with a best friend can give us an opportunity to spend more time together. It will magnify positive emotions and help us achieve any number of goals.
How to use These Journals…
Write once every day, several times a day, or once a week. It is up to you. Find what works for you. Come to the journal when you need it over the next 52 weeks.
Use the writing prompts or the blank lined pages or both. Inspirational quotes are there to provide a weekly theme if desired.
Beginners may feel overwhelmed at first but even short 5 minute self-reflections can transform lives. Consistently writing out a list of gratitudes will show you how much you have to be grateful for.
